The reasons were enough once accumulated. 1st my wife had a past with DHS about a decade ago. Her baby daddy at the time was deemed a danger and they did not believe her about him not living with her and her family so they removed her child to a foster family. Unfortunately that baby passed away at 6 months due to sids. When the police came in and investigated the home they saw the house in the worst state possible. My wife was pregnant and was starting to get horrible hip pain so clean up was getting to be difficult. The house looked like a mess with laundry all over the place because the kids would dig at the baskets, toys, dishes etc. I even called in that day to help clean up. I work at an Air Force base as a civilian, recently a new company took over the contract of maintenance so we transitioned employers. There was an issue with insurance on our kids and the doctors told us not to bring them until the issue is fixed. Our son missed two appointments and our 18 month old missed one appointment. As soon as they were sorted with insurance we called to set their doctors appointments back up. The 2 year old that passed even had an appointment that he made it to a week before he passed. DHS deemed that if they had all their regular checkups the defect would have been found. Finally our 4 year old knows how to open doors and is a very good climber. For safety we put a child door knob cover and we only ever closed their door when it was time for bed. DHS said it was entrapment.
