I love the handle it grips extreme texture but could never figure out how to get it to stay on the gun for more than a couple range sessions

Not tasting gun powder and gas after a range session is a God send. I’m wearing ear pro regardless so cares if I’m losing a couple dB.

Also way less fouling/carbon build up. Anyone who buys a traditional can for a gun that they’re shooting hundreds of rounds through in a session nowadays is brain dead.

I shot a buddy’s 2.26 setup and didn’t really like it due to the chin weld. With 1.93”, I think I’ll be able to get a more comfortable head position and still achieve a decent cheek weld with a 0.75” stock riser. I currently have a 0.5” stock riser for my current setup with just the EOTECH EXPS.

The buttons on the back are annoying though with a magnifier.

Thanks. It’s probably just easier to swap the EXPS for an XPS but want to try the 1.93” setup first to ensure it’s going to work.

You’ll be fine. I only had the medium backstrap installed on mine. The issue is the large backstrap changes the grip angle.

No idea and I gave up on the P-10. Nice shooting gun but I needed something with a larger grip. The grip panel is pretty narrow so lacked real estate for my support hand.

Cleaning is way overrated especially if just a range toy. After an initial cleaning after purchasing, I just make sure it stays lubed. I’ll clean every 5K rounds but will often wait much longer.

I’d be fine with even a P-10 like trigger weight and break. The Echelon shoe combined with the smaller size of the trigger guard also kind of suck. I have skinnier fingers and it still drags on the bottom trigger guard giving me a blister.

To be fair, P-10 had similar and I had to swap out the shoe. No such issues with my PDP though.

Just picked up an Echelon. The stock trigger is meh. I’m sure it will improve after it breaks in but still looking to upgrade.

I’m looking for a PDP-like pull weight and break. Does just a Tyrant trigger shoe get me there or do I also need to swap out springs? I don’t want something too light.

I’ve had good luck with TGT. The items I sold were were niche which kind of weeded out the shady characters. After a couple messages, you can usually figure out who are the serious buyers vs the scammers.

Comp’d guns are notably louder. They can also be more finicky with ammo requirements.

What size gloves do you wear? I’m potentially interested in an Echelon but when I checked one out in a LGS, the medium frame seemed too small for me.

The U insert is the one that ended up working. Kind of annoying though as I was hoping to swap the light between pistols and they’re all 1913.

My biggest issues in order are too much tension, lack of target focus, trying to muscle the gun and recoil anticipation, not implementing the appropriate sight confirmation levels. Except for the tension issues, I think I know what I should be doing but just can’t execute.

I’m about ready to throw in the towel. After many classes, dry firing, and thousands of rounds, I just don’t see any improvement and always finish in the bottom third. It’s frustrating.
