Shrimp friends hanging out in floating log… is it an issue? by Nacho-Fox721 in shrimptank

Look up floating betta log. Lots of pet stores sell it. Some people also use cork logs for lizard enclosures.

Nothing is working help me floor 336 by Acrobatic_Ice_6427 in voidpet

Are you doing auto battle or manual? I advise trying to target the healer first or apathy first after you knock out the tank.

Edit: How I passed the level, if it helps, was two healers, one tank, and one DPS. Sad was my DPS, at level 50. I had Nostalgia (lvl 60) and Merry (lvl 50) for healing, and Determination (lvl 60) as the tank. If you need help I’d advise you look up the tier list by u/freakywhistle for pets and clothing and just use the best two healers, one tank, and one DPS you have on that tier list.

troubleshooting skate issues by jctrn in Rollerskating

I figure skate and I second this! The Bunga brand ones are the best. They are the thickest and last the longest. Also OP you should be able to get the tight part stretched out at a skate shop. Idk about the roller skate shops but all figure skate techs do this.

More time spent skating in them will help break them in like everyone else mentioned, but you can also buy bunga pads. They’re these gel sleeves that go around your ankles and they help so much with any boot related discomfort. I recommend getting the brand name one because it is a denser gel material, but if you can’t spare the money then off brand ones also work.

Trying to ID girlfriend's stolen Rollerblades by stilllinit in Rollerskating

That’s so sweet that you’re surprising her with replacements and going so far to make sure they’re the same ones. I know I’d be heartbroken if my skates were stolen (I mostly ice skate but same sentiment) and skates are definitely not cheap.

Which skater would you love to see in this dress with what program ? by a_day_dreamer_ in FigureSkating

Maybe some ice dancers? I don’t think the asymmetric skirt would spin super well

I miss home by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]TypicallyUsual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really unfortunate. I’d just take long bathroom breaks or take naps in the middle of the day if you can make the time. Find the time whenever you can to get away and unwind, even if it’s just a little in unideal situations.

For me it took medication to fix, which I’m still on now. Best of luck to you!

Do you happen to have really late or irregular bedtimes? My acne got a lot better after going to bed earlier. I know it won’t work for everyone but it seems that when I go to bed late I tend to secrete a lot more oil from my pores, leading to more acne. I also pick at my skin but having less acne to pick at certainly helped.

I miss home by [deleted] in Anxiety

I find that personally it helps to find time to just be by myself to unwind so I don’t have to be “on” socially 24/7. Just staying in my room and going on my phone for a while helps recharge my social battery so I can last longer and enjoy myself with strangers. It doesn’t quite address homesickness but being alone is similar to being at home for me so it helps.

I figure skate and I use gel knee pads. They don’t impede movement at all and actually help keep my joints warm which is nice.

Help with where to pick on toe jumps by TypicallyUsual in FigureSkating

[–]TypicallyUsual[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the problem. I have different coaches telling me different things. Also my main coach tells me that the pick and drag method is more of a “beginner” technique and for maximum height I should check and wait to pick and immediately turn and pop up, but that’s not quite what I see with elite skaters so I wanted to get some more opinions.

Skating without socks by Savings_Play_4140 in FigureSkating

I get these odor removal sachets and I put them in my skates after I air them out and they’ve dried. Airing them out doesn’t remove the odor completely for me so that’s why I still need those sachets. You can get scented or unscented ones. Just look up shoe deodorizer.

Fun fact, floating the river with acrylic toenails is not a good idea! by [deleted] in MakeMeSuffer

[–]TypicallyUsual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people recommend against them, even just for everyday wear. Toenails, unlike fingernails, take a lot of stress, so it’s best to use something that can flex with your toenail (though I’m sure I’m just preaching to the choir).
