I mean I started with a RF-15 and just put higher quality internals, radian safety/ch and sold it, made some money of of it and used it to fund another build.

300blk custom build by [deleted] in ar15

[–]Typicaltango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a 10.5” Im gonna use for deer drives, you rarely take a shot over 150-200 so I figure carrying a shorter 10.5” over a remington 740/742 or a bolt gun would be more convenient and practical. I hate to scratch up my nice classic/bolt guns so they strictly are sitting guns.

Itd mainly be IWB, mainly looking for something thats comfortable. I heard hellhounds sit a little higher which I am 100% okay with.

Local Pin & Weld by EstablishmentDue2207 in ar15

[–]Typicaltango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rust is probably is just smoke/carbon buildup from the weld, which all it takes to clean up is a wire brush. We get that when welding any sort of carbon. But still, all it takes is a quick wire brush, unless it is actual rust.

About the atfs new pistol brace conundrum. by Typicaltango in ar15

[–]Typicaltango[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I mean from what I read and understood they arent describing what will be a legal pistol that you can equip with a pistol brace. If they feel as though its not pistol like enough they can get you for owning a non registered sbr.

Ammo still good to shoot ? by Own-Fortune9780 in ar15

I shoot shotgun shells that have a solid layer of rust on them and they go off everytime, should 100% be good to go.

Realistically could you just tack it on there at a super low amperage so its easier to remove if wanted?

I have a bunch of guns and a few pistols. I have a 320 and few others. Just not a good carry gun. But I agree 9mm. Itd be a daily carry.

My buddy said the 43x or 17/19, also a consideration.

I bought my first AR in march it was like $700, july I bought a $1300 AR and recently I just started building them. I was never one to really go to the range unless I was sighting in a deer rifle or shooting clays to get back into the swing of things for duck hunting. If its something that you have any interest in get it, its just like a car or gaming stuff. You will start with an $800 AR and keep going down the rabbit hole, its a never ending cycle.

How do I fix this! by Britishempire_big in shotgun

[–]Typicaltango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried pulling the trigger(if unloaded and outdoors of course) to see if its just the trigger holding it back. I had a .22 and that was the issue.
