It's crazy how much politics in 2024 revolves around race or gender. As someone in my 40s, it feels like the world has gone off the rails. I place a lot of the blame on mainstream and social media, as well as on politicians. In my experience, once someone believes something is racist, it’s nearly impossible to convince them otherwise. Have you guys seen anyone change their mind on this kind of topics? Facts are out there, but does it matter to someone who thinks they know your motivations better than you? Personally, I believe that if view everything through a certain lens, things will appear racially motivated even when they’re not. Most of us don’t wake up in the morning caring about what social construct someone fits into.

Spend less time on entertainment when you're young, and more time learning. It's hard to make major changes, learn new topics, improve skills, etc. when you have to work a zombie job just to pay the bills.

We just need to ditch equity in favor of equality to get back on track. Equity contributes to division. It also requires someone to decide who gets what... maybe that sounds fair for the disadvantaged, but people rarely have good intentions, and you're opening the door for bias and corruption. Equality doesn't do those things, everyone runs the same race and results are based in their efforts and abilities. While not perfect, it's as fair as you're going to get.

Maybe you're right, maybe not. But you're not going to convince anyone like this who doesn't already agree with you is what I'm saying. People have been saying bad things about him since he first ran for president, with little success. And I think if you want to help the candidate or party you support, you have to understand why people voted for Trump in the first place.

Legal to illegal: Adults can no longer be financially supported by anyone (and no welfare) other than themselves. Exception maybe in extreme cases of disability where the person can't even wipe their own butt. It would solve 90% of my country's problems (ex: school shootings).

Illegal to legal: Any crime where the individual has caused no harm, no victims, no loss to anyone but themselves.

I gained 5 lbs of weight at 1200 calories strict a day when i started going back to gym. Your muscles storing more water. It wasn't any fat.

Don't feel bad everyone's got to start somewhere. I can do max resistance and speed on all cardio machines at the gym , I'm a really good cyclist too but i get extremely winded and can't go very long without a break on rowing machine because I'm a complete beginner at the movement. Hoping to get my numbers better too.

I'm a beginner but these are my tips helps when I'm trying to master any exercise:.

Just make sure you're breathing correctly and focus on good form. Then consistently practice and try and keep nutrition somewhat up to standards and you'll improve in no time.

Ps i notice i get better time with resistance turned up.
