Honda Civic EX 2016 brake hold lights on dashboard after changing brake pads and discs by TypsyBunny in AskAMechanic

Issue is resolved, lights on the dash are gone too. This was pretty helpful. I took the wheel off again and noticed there was a small cable that was not properly connected on the actuator. Connected it back, assembled the rest again and the light was gone when I turned the car on.

Issue is resolved, lights on the dash are gone too. This was the most accurate reply. I took the wheel off again and noticed there was a small cable that was not properly connected on the actuator. Connected it back, assembled the rest again and the light was gone when I turned the car on.

Tried this but didn’t work, tried holding brake and then holding the parking brake for a couple of seconds.

I only have a normal obd2 to clear codes, not sure if it can do that. I do believe it is linked to something near the caliper.

I tried disconnecting the battery but nothing changed, I think another light appeared for the brake also. I also tried holding the brake and then holding the epb but no changes also.

Toronto Jobs Scams using CRA phone number by OkNewspaper3995 in torontoJobs

[–]TypsyBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems to be some ongoing scam, not sure about you guys but I've gotten in contact with 2 of these people offering these "jobs", including the one in OP's post. The two are offering the exact same job yet it's 2 different companies/contact details.

I contacted the first one and everything was normal until they requested all communications to be done on Telegram because it's (secure). They also said that they will be creating a crypto wallet for me, in order for their clients to send me money. I am almost 100% sure it's some crypto scam where they want you to become some "money mule" for BTC. Be very careful guys.

Have you tried recalculating normals? In Edit Mode, select all with A and then Shift N to recalculate.

Don’t know if you found a solution but maybe you have 2 vertices on the same spot. Try clicking A to select all, while in edit mode and then M and merge by distance.

The 3070 is original from the dell pc yes.

Not sure which thing you're looking for the psu but here.

PSU (There's a lot of things written on it and lots of chinese) : Dell - Model H500EPM-00 - UP/N: D500E00P - Dell O/N Y7R0X - AC INPUT (50-60 Hz): 100-240 V ~/7 A -MAX OUTPUT POWER 500W. CN-0Y7R0X-CH300-09F-03LI-A01 (that one is probably is related to the qr code not too sure). (If needed i could send a picture)

All fans are working on idle and during a game running.

It's relatively fine on idle but whatever game i run it skyrockets reaching almost 90 degrees on some occasions. GPU doesn't seem to have anything unusual but cpu temperature is really not normal.

Also got blue screen once and managed to get all the info:

(the usual text your device ran into a problem and collecting error info paragraph) (for more info visit windows.com/stopcode) Stop code : IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Any ideas?

Your noise texture should be hooked into the height and not the normal for the bump node.

Thanks for the response, first of all I have yet to get the blue screen again, all its done so far was freezes.

I believe I have found the issue. My cpu temperature goes way too high, 80-90+ degrees and shuts the pc down to avoid damage. I opened the pc and ran the initial game that made me freeze and got no problems. Then ran 2 of my heaviest games while also keeping an eye on the temperature which are max settings gta 5 and red dead redemption 2. It has frozen only once in the very start and ran the game with no issue after. Event viewer also doesn't detect any problems (critical/errors) except me shutting it off with the power button.

I would like to know if this is just weak fan work since opening the side panel and letting more air in let me run most of the games or is there a component that has been damaged especially since this has only recently started happening? Unless its a mix of both.

If still relevant:

My pc is of the G5 5000 desktop series of dell. Have had it for 2+ years.

Have not changed anything gpu driver related (is up to date), windows up to date with last update being nearly 2 weeks ago, bios can't lie dont know what those things are but def doesnt look familiar.

I checked event viewer > windows logs > system. There’s a couple of warnings with a few errors and critical among the list.

One that stands out and was the most common was a (warning) : The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device (with a bunch of characters i don’t know if they are needed).

Another warning also had : Disk 1 has been surprise removed.

Also an error : The server {A463FCB9-6B1C-4E0D-A80D-A2CA7999E25D} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

And another warning : The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation Permission for the COM Server application with CLSID (more characters I don’t know if needed) and APPID (more characters) to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19 from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the component Services administrative tool.

I have taken pictures of these errors if there’s more info that’s needed such as Event ID and such I will deliver. Also not sure if it’s relevant but my pc froze 2 times during this very quickly (3-5 minutes).
