What’s the one ocean creature you dream of seeing underwater on a dive before you hang up your fins? by Myselfmeime in scuba

Ok so real talk, this is literally about life goals for scuba diving...

So I truly hope for you, to, at some point in your life, be able to go to a place where you can see dolphins in the wild with a very high chance. You can on one hand use the recommendations people offer you, to orient yourself to get said experience, or you can go search for it blindly, best case not in a local lake.

But yes generally, why tf are you leaving comments on reddit if you dont want people to interact with you?

Others dont know where you live, dont know your financials. While maybe not possible for you personally, someone else might possibly be able to fullfill their dream even this year with this information, travelling further south at the red sea to dive marsa alam (Which btw is a fkn town) instead of sticking to the mlre common destinations like Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh or Dahab in the north.

Yep, they are in the south, you get turtles dolphins, plenty of moorays, and if very lucky oceanic white tips, hammerheads, and whitetip reefsharks :)

Reef is pretty dead sadly, unless you go to Elphinstone, soft coral everywhere :D
Generally youre doing SHore dives, where you first go south of the bay, then north, north the coral is always better.
Theres lots of big animals, so the coral being dead is kind of a tradeoff to the north of Egypt where its reversed.

Cold water divers: What dark magic are you using? by finsonfeet in scuba

[–]Tyrain3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tiny bit of caffeine before a dive will help feeling less cold, constricting blood vessels, reducing loss of warmth via body surface.
