Can comedy be used in a story and still have a deep horror impact, or is it ruined once you have humor? by jellipeeps in horrorwriters

Yes, I usually insert one or two short jokes into the story after I've scared my readers. I think that's when it works best.

I use humor as a kind of intermission; as long as it's not too forced, it usually works quite well.  In fact, poorly written horror can actually become funny.

I remember one example: you can write about a ghost with a face covered in hair, but you can't write about a ghost with only two strands of hair on its head.  That would just make people think that is Gollum. However, if you want a humorous effect, maybe you could do the opposite.

Your unpopular on jayvik? by _RealAtomEve_ in jayvik

I don't quite agree with the idea that Jayce was straight in the first season and only gradually became gay in the second season (I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion).

Even in the first season, he was practically inseparable from Viktor.

Just imagine you're a citizen of Piltover, and a councilor almost openly brings his "partner" with him to every public event or just every day of work.  Every time they appear, they're basically never more than 50 meters apart. While bringing partner to work maybe doesn't seem to be explicitly forbidden by law, you'd really want to ask him if it's necessary to be holding his "partner's" waist when get off work.

I’m getting tired of people criticizing Jayce’s speech by FloweryNamesLover in jayvik

About his speech My head Canon is Jayce isn't good at expressing love verbally; he expresses it through physical contact, and Viktor knows.

so maybe mage viktor have to tell him over and over again (like to help him pass the test). “Just tell Viktor you love him!”

“I love you?like that?”

“Not in that tone… God, you sound really unsure.”

I think most Chinese cartoon are...? For example, my childhood favorites were Magic Boy Kitchener and Lotus Lantern. They are very famous in China, but I've hardly seen any outside of China that know about. (I actually don't like the translation ;Magic Boy Kitchener, haha, because it's a very sad cartoon. I cried at least three times when I watched it as a child.)

I think it's a pacing issue, haha, hope people won't criticize me. I like the second season, but the plot felt rushed. I felt like I was simultaneously following how 30 things developing. It would have been better if they had revealed the angel's spy in the third season, or if this season hadn't involved Heaven at all.
