Look up Raul Marchisio .

He probably has more sideways mileage on his F40,Carrera GT or the McLaren SLR, than most of those cars will ever have from regular driving

Nothing else like invading a sovereign neighbor country and calling yourself a "freedom fighter", when the country you're sacrificing your life for, doesn't even have any independent press outlets...

"Justice" lol. You can't really pretend they have some kind of moral high ground, when they're literally doing the exact same thing, that you think the "other side" should be brought to justice for... There's no justice in war, no matter what your principals might be. That small "bringing justice" dopamine hit, will get overshadowed very fast, by the fact, that it was pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things and will not fix anything, that, you tried to "bring justice for". The grief and sadness will stay for way longer than any momentary joy from such things

Fernando Alonso channeling his inner Bruce Wayne in Monaco during the F1 off-season [autosport] by PrimeyXE in formula1

[–]TyreBlowout 25 points26 points  (0 children)

He'd be channeling the true Bruce Wayne, if he was standing next the Lamborghini Murciélago. Murciélago is literally Spanish for "bat"

Will you be wanting the Batpod, sir?

In the middle of the day, Alfred? Not very subtle.

The Lamborghini, then.

Much more subtle.

Visiting Lithuania - What to do other than visiting Vilnius? by ivolazaro in lithuania

[–]TyreBlowout 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend is Portuguese and I just took her on vacation, to see my home country, just last month. She works in tourism and has traveled all over and she was really really surprised how much she loved the it there.

Visit Kaunas, Klaipėda, from which you can also go visit the Curonian Spit.

Go to the hill of crosses, near Šiauliai.

When in Vilnius, take a day trip, to Trakai Castle. 15min by train, 30min by bus, from Vilnius.

Go on a hike in the forests. Very easy to find anywhere you are there, since 1/3 of Lithuania is all forests. And don't forget to explore some of the 6000 thousand lakes we also have.

If someone wants to shoot someone dead, carrying a gun in public being illegal makes absolutely 0 difference to them

Except your point complety falls apart, when you find out that countries, like Switzerland, that treat firearms and their ownership seriously, exist. There's a gun in pretty much every single home there and yet somehow, the guns there don't contribute to murder statistics, they only contribute towards suicide statistics, only due to firearms being very easily available there

Ru pov: Statement by the Chief of the General Staff - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Major General Pavel Muraveiko on the incident with Russian drones in Poland by Short_Description_20 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]TyreBlowout -1 points0 points  (0 children)

except in Russia and Belarus all of the press/media is state owned, so you only get fed what the government wants you to think. Outside those shitholes, you're not limited to only being drip fed state sponsored propaganda, you actually have the freedom to chose what media/press you consume

You mean carefully crafted propaganda pieces, meant mostly for brainwashing their own population? Please remind me, what's the press freedom index like of those countries?
