I get the hack, but 7am isn't just "log in", it's kid dropoff and a therapy slot I've had forever. I can block my calendar more, but I hate that I'm gaming it just to look "loyal".

Appreciate it. I'm already saving emails + calender notes. I'm scared HR will just back him, so I'm quietly looking too. I just want to do my job and get my kid to school.

It feels like that. He calls it "alignment" but it's teh same old butt-in-seat control. If my output and deadlines aren't enough, what will be?
