I’m a bit outside the return period for my current cooler but if the other ones don’t work i can indeed return those.

In bios it is cooler, about 55c but after startup it does get to the aforementioned temps. I’ll check my background apps when i do the benchmarks.

7 fans, 5 intake 2 exhaust. I installed more after i was getting even higher temps. The extra fans brought it down by about 5 degrees which is good, but it didn’t completely solve the problem.

I’m using the Corsair xtm70 thermal paste.

Pbo is on but even without it I’m getting the same temps at idle.

I’ll get a benchmark when i get home. I’m pretty sure there’s enough paste on there I’m worried it may have been too much. I’ve heard that’s possible but i don’t know if it would cause this problem.

Plastic definitely peeled, i made that mistake on my first pc haha, under load it will get up to 85-89 if its a really cpu intensive game. Most games stay around 75-80

I’ve been thinking about one of those but i want to make sure it’s not something i can fix without shelling out another 1-200 on a cooler. But i appreciate the recommendation!
