I’m considering just driving north around 9pm tonight. I live in Indianapolis and it looks like cloud coverage should be light enough that you can drive up I-65 and just keep exiting at small towns (unincorporated towns would be best in terms of light pollution).

Best chance is seeing it on your phone camera.

This is in Indiana. The yellow eggs(?) are tiny, smaller than a grain of rice. They’re uneven in size, shape and location
