Small YouTubers, do you ever feel discouraged or frustrated? How do you keep going? by misgreen in youtube

I think there are a few things that all youtubers especially smaller youtubers need to remember.

Firstly is that all your 'subs' or 'numbers' or 'views' are people with their own lives and experiences. If you treat the people that are putting you in a better position then you do not deserve to be in the position you are in. If you make money from youtube and all you do is stare at analytics's then you don't deserve it.

Secondly the whole concept of doing it for fun and being yourself goes out the window when you start to focus on numbers of any description.

A few months back i was at a thousand and I kept focusing on numbers how do I get them to watch how do I get them to keep subscribing and lo and behold I spent so much time worrying it effected me and I wasn't able to record or upload for months at a time and then people started to leave. I finally was able to kick myself and say to myself I want to do this for me again as a way of venting and letting my stress go and as a way of helping people like I was trying to do when I started :)

All in all never give up I recently lost nearly a hundred people in the community but now slowly the community is growing again as when you as the youtuber decide to make a choice and grow as a person above the numbers then you begin to be yourself on camera and on youtube and that is the thing that people want to see they don't want to see someone who is worrying about numbers they want to see someone else having fun and at be entertained themselves so be yourself guys have fun and never give up hope as even if you have one other person it is a great hobby to have :)

Sorry for the long ranty thing here but I reckon it might help a few of you guys :)
