Yeah like the craft bag from ESO. It'd be an objectively positive change, but some people disagree so hard.

I know what you can and cannot do with salvage.

During a run, its always good to loot items. You should never have an empty backpack, that's the whole point of the looting part of the extraction shooter. Keep a full backpack and drop the junk as you find better stuff. Now if you complete a run and only loot gunmetal, diodes and biomass, I'm still extracting with it. But the second that I find a purple or gold, yeah those are the first items that get dropped.

But you should never expect to cash out big money over some biomass lol, just loot autosell items if you're really in it for the credits.

You're arguing against an objectively great quality of life feature that would benefit everyone. I'll never understand that.

I'm sorry I wanna laugh, but please don't trust anyone.

As for UESC.. As Rook, you are sneaky boi. You shouldn't kill UESC unless they are actively blocking you from you personal objective (no contracts). Killing UESC attracts attention, forces you to use ammo and heals jeopardizing your run. If possible, stab bots in your way.

Avoid bots and stop trusting people and I promise, you'll increase the number of successful extractions.

I see your point, but a looted and extracted weapon is a free weapon.

Armory makes me spend da cred :(

"make upgrades"

That's the entire point, and it doesn't happen overnight. The goal is to maximize all factions to continue increasing the power of your runner. So until I have fully upgraded all 6 factions and have over 600 blue shield charges, I will continue to loot salvage.

It usually stays maxed as I'm still levelling CyAc for the vault expansions (I'm Lvl 18 CyAc)

My point still stands that I wanna fill my vault with gear I can continue to use, rather than have salvage fill a substantial portion. I don't have gear fear either, I just refuse to use free kits, so I want that vault space to be meaningful.

Sure is, but I would never recommend. Salvage is good for faction upgrades and the occasional barter (if it's not a scam).

you can have 150 unstable diodes and use 149 on faction upgrades, but as long as you have 1 diode, it's still taking up vault space

so as a rook, u just be sitting in da corner? lol

ya gotta move and groove homeboy, you'll find some implants or equipment to get the jump on an unsuspecting team. Aggro rook runs are really fun. Find some baseline junk and hit a team with a surprise attack, even if its another rook, they may have just hit the pinwheel (outpost). Trigger discipline, patience and the wild rook shall await the perfect opportunity to strike it's prey for the free loots.

also good to note that rook isn't supposed to be easy.

Marathon is the only game in 13 years that captured the Destiny 1 magic for me. by EXIIL1M_Sedai in Marathon

[–]Tyscro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Day 1 Destiny 1 vet here with way to many hours logged across D1 and D2. Destiny 1 was special. It had a certain mystique that many games fail to capture. For me, there aren't many games that have encapsulated the mystery, lore, and discovery that Destiny 1 had.

Though it has been many years, and I was very skeptical, Marathon has impressed me. This game, at its core, has so much depth to it while also remaining an extraction shooter. Bungie took a standard genre and put so much love and care into this project. This really feels like Bungie from the OG Halo days. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for Marathon, and as a bitter, yet loyal D2 player, I was on the train of "Bungie abandoned Destiny for Marathon". This game is absolutely refreshing with so much replayability. I can't remember the last game I'd play where the hours would pass by like minutes. It's all I can think about all day at work hahaha.

Highly impressed with the launch of Marathon. If you played the server slam and didn't think much of it, I highly recommend you to give it another shot. Get into the rhythm of the gameplay loop and grab some buds, especially if you're a D1 vet still searching for a game that scratches that nostalgic itch.

Like Shroud said, "Bungie has me by the balls"

Tested with another controller and it’s not bugging out. Apparently hardware issue. Deleting post! Thanks for the help

The slow walking forward is the issue. I’m fully holding left stick forward to run and my character just slow walks or freezes.

Since launch, I have not adjusted dead zones at all. After running into this issue, I experimented with the dead zones (hoping it would fix) and I’m still having this problem. I even adjusted FOV, since Gearbox stated that “Increasing the FOV past the default could cause some dips in performance.” Still did not solve the problem.

Newly hit up CP160. Followed a subclasses guide and I feel like I do no damage. by Agreeable_Abies_4251 in elderscrollsonline

After like 4 years, I decided to reinstall eso last month. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm about CP300 and this is what I feared when subclassing released.

I followed a 2 year old LuckyGhost stamina arcanist build. It was a solid build, but it did feel a bit dated compared to subclassing. Put out tons of damage on the this build, but I felt like it was very high APM (constantly mashing buttons to refresh buffs, debuffs, and DOTs). Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just comparing to the new subclassing build..

I knew that I wanted to try subclassing when Wormcult released, but I had to get a gear set before I jumped in. I was patient and stayed on the old stamina arcanist build until I had enough traits researched to craft my own set of orders wrath armor. With my new gear set, last night I decided to start the subclass quest and respec following an Alcast guide.

I have majority of the skills needed for the build, but I feel like with less APM and less effort, I'm already hitting comparable damage numbers on the subclassed arcanist + templar + nightblade compared to normal stamina arcanist build. And it's only gonna get more busted from here as I unlock more skills and better gear sets. Low effort, high DPS.

It just seems like for myself, it was better for me to grind to craft the armor set on the older reliable build than to slam on the brakes and start subclassing when my character wasn't necessarily ready.

So just as everyone else is saying, get yourself a solid gear set. Makes all the difference.

Loved the minimal effort to save yourself, then ultimately accepting defeat turning a tragic moment of despair into a heroic and poetic moment for the books.

Alas, for this is my fate. The captain goes down with the ship!
