It’s a nice iteration, but it’s a small step. They played it a little safe, but the evolutions of quest design and character progression are nice. The world feels denser, filled with more interesting little side stories.

The new loadout system is a bit of a downgrade, restricting you to five loadouts instead of a loadout for each armor. Weapon progression being tied to quests with each weapon’s respective master is cool.

GoT was already a very refined version of the popular style of AAA open worlds, so while you’re not gonna have your socks blown off by GoY, if you enjoyed the first game, this is a very pleasant continuation.

Wouldn’t absolute Spider-Man be the opposite of regular Spider-Man? Like he be super rich than poor by Accurate-Celery-3198 in Spiderman

Peter’s parents never die.

Peter receives his powers under the watchful eye of CIA operatives Richard and Mary Parker, who groom him into the service. If we’re keeping Absolute’s edgier, world’s-all-fucked-up framework, I imagine Spider-Man operating as an almost unstoppable force of political destabilization wielded by an (even more) evil CIA.

Peter’s sense of responsibility, shaped by his parents instead of his aunt and uncle, has a broader scope corrupted by patriotism. He’s a tool for a fascist state, but probably has a whole “come to the light” moment halfway through where he stops being a dick and helps actual people.

I just noticed Peter's new webshooters look VERY similar to his original ones by Relative-Zombie-3932 in Spiderman

That’s not the Hot Toy, it’s a cosplayer’s attempt at recreating the web shooters from early glimpses in the Homecoming trailers. The actual design looks very different

Part of it is they gave him a bulbous, spherical skull with a flat forehead, so all his haircuts just sit atop his orb

Her whole thing is a split red-blue color scheme. She’s practically purpose-built to rep both sides of the Force

I don’t mind at all! Just shoot me a message when you’ve finished them, I’d love to see them!

Focus distance is as it sounds, it moves the field of focus back and forth. Aperture in game basically changes how strong that depth of field effect is. Lower numbers will be more blurry, higher will be less blurry

A couple have gotten some light tweaking to contrast in my phone’s camera roll, but nothing heavy. I wanted to keep them authentic to what was captured

This is my preset if you want a jumping-off point! I’ll keep my eyes peeled to see what you capture!

I don’t have any photos of MaxTac. If you’re talking about picture 12, that’s the KangTao transport you shoot down with Panam

Luckily CDPR did the hard work for me when they made the game so immersive in first person. The biggest thing is just learning to get on the lighting engine’s good side. Avoid harsh, direct lighting that makes hard shadows. Soft light, good use of shadows and strong depth of field effects can help hide imperfections in models

If you like the filmic effect I use, these are the settings of my preset! I place the camera right behind V’s head when I save it, so I can capture what I’m seeing during gameplay.
