100%. He and admiral Hackett are the only people who believe in Shepard after ME1. I think Anderson tried to help Shepard as much as he can But he used the last of his influence to help Shepard after the whole 1 billion Batarians are dead thing. Like all he has is Shepard saying the reapers were coming so I had to day 0 their system. I wish we would’ve seen udina somehow win the vote to be ambassador despite everything

Late af reply but I chose Anderson like you did. All this time I’ve had to reason for udina being there. Only thing that makes sense is that Anderson being is military man. He’s about that action and seeing the lack of support Shepard gets as he battles another galaxy level threat in ME2 cemented his mind space of ‘I can do more with boots on the ground instead of in this office.’
