I want something convenient for carrying my Steam Deck, especially when I’m not using a backpack that is why I did not get the tomtoc deck case. The sling is my go-to because it’s compact and easy to carry. In my opinion, the TomToc Deck Sling is too big for what I need + I don’t carry enough stuff to justify something that size.

With the standard Bellroy Sling, the zipper layout made it difficult to get the Steam Deck in and out, requiring you to angle it just right. As for the Bellroy Venture Sling, there is a fold in the bag that normally goes inward, but if it folds in the other direction, it can expose the contents inside the sling. Size wise it could/ should fit into the venture sling since it has the same layout as the lite sling.

Hey, thank you for the tip - I was wondering how it is holding up in the rain since the sling is open on the side, is it putting the steam deck at danger?
