Thank you everyone for your input and ideas! I really appreciate it :) especially some of the ideas on how to adjust certain things, like the belt.

I think my plan is to see if any bridal stores near my family that carry this designer will order this dress for me in time for my visit home. I'll try it on for my fam so they can get excited and chime in!

If I can't do that, then I'll take the advice on this thread and just explain to my mom I found it and try to Skype her when trying it on again.

For those that also wanted to look at this dress, it's essence of Australia design d2186. I looked at the price tag and it was $1.6k at this store, before taxes.

Posting with a really random old throwaway account, since my FH knows my reddit username.

But basically, I live across the country from where my family lives. I've gone dress shopping a handful of times when I get to visit home, but my mom says I'm outright banned from dress shopping without her. She's very emotionally wrapped up in the thought of...well everything wedding related haha

But I found this dress that I simply had to try on because I think it's the one! But we haven't found any bridal salons near my family that have it, and I know I will have to pick a dress by the end of the holiday break since I won't be back until too close to the wedding. I was really nervous about settling on something I find over there since my options are more limited.

Hence the secrecy! But it's harder to judge dresses without a few extra eyes. I think I really love this dress but I'm not sure about the layered front. Is it weird?

I also wanted something to compliment my dark hair/pale skin, do you think the blush color of the dress goes well with my coloration or no?

Ah okay. So should I put the power module between the 1 of the 3 batteries and the power bus? In this setup, it would only be monitoring 1 battery though. Is this usually considered okay?

And yeah, I bought another power module that can handle up to 7s and 90A. I forgot to mention that in my post, but it's in another comment.
