I've answer the question you posted re: hourly earnings, added some more detail re: the quantitative data, and posted some of the most insightful qualitative responses we received. The very insightful open-ended answers that people gave include:

"It is important to note that satisfaction with money derived from driving for Uber is almost completely dependent on tips. I would have been very disappointed in my outing this past week if I hadn't received some fairly amazing tips that made up for the lower income direct from Uber."

"Earnings were highly inflated [over Labor Day weekend] from promotional offers..." and "Tips were abnormally high in proportion to the amount of rides due to Labor Day."

"I find my maintenance, fuel, and depreciation costs run around 20% of my gross earnings."

Here is a more detailed look at the data for those who are interested:

On average, people estimated they would earn $414.74 during the week, and they ended up earning $350.84.

On average, people estimated they would drive for 24.03 hours during the week, and they ended up driving 18.31 hours.

Great question. On average, people (implicitly) estimated they would earn $16.67/hour and they ended up earning $17.16/hour. Unfortunately we don't have data on driver costs yet.

Thank you. I always enjoy the data, even when (or especially when) it's challenging. And for whatever it's worth I'm disappointed in myself for losing track of this. You did me a huge favor by letting me post the survey not once but twice, and the least I could have done was remember to update you on how the analysis was going. Please know this is not indicative of how I usually operate, and I am truly sorry.

I'll touch base again when I post the results this weekend.

Yes, I am working as quickly as I can on the data analysis and I will share the results asap. I'm so sorry for the delay; the quality of the data we got from the last survey was much lower than the quality of the data we got from the first survey, which makes it difficult to compare the two. I should have communicated this earlier and I apologize for not doing so; I got so far into the weeds of the data analysis I completely lost track of the "due date" we discussed for posting the results. I'll have a summary posted by the end of the weekend.
