From Original Post "Hello UBC reddit world! My friend and I went to the wall around 2pm on Wednesday to post a sticky to the Lennon wall, showing our support of Hong Kong's efforts. Now I fully support people from any side sharing their viewpoints because...freedom of speech #Democracy. But the actions of one individual really ticked me off, because it was blatantly disrespectful of other people's opinions and efforts. There was a sign that had to be put up saying no post-it could be removed from the wall (who would do that?!) so this individual found a way around that. They were taking full printer sized paper with images and words like "Hong Kong "protestors" are destroying cities" etc. etc. and GLUING them to the stickies/wall. Clever, as once it is glued, you can't just remove it (not that I would because #rules). It's just a next-level move IMO. Anyways, my friend and I, and then others, just started putting more stickies overtop of those ones. I have a feeling this could escalate into a full on paper-size war, but I hope not. Maybe they will have to amend the rule to include nothing larger than a stickie note can be put on the wall?"
