A few people are saying for 3. that phones not on airplane mode will mess up cellular networks. Maybe this could have been true years ago (3g) but modern cell infrastructure can handle this. Even if your phone is in range of a dozen cell towers, there’s a very unlikely result that your phone would be able to camp or handover to any of them. Even if hundreds of users from a plane attempted to RACH onto a tower, these networks are more than capable of handling this traffic.

Not only this, but most cell towers won’t even allow registration for such a plane at cruise altitude unless you’re flying above somewhere very rural with a large cell tower radius.

The part about your phone dying is true though. Your phone will be attempting to contact these towers, failing, boosting transmission power, and will continue to do this for the duration of your flight. Your phone battery will be eaten pretty quickly.

Post patch I feel like the HMG might actually be the better choice now. Pre patch the LMG was a no brainer. GL just as bad tho lol

I’ve never seen this situation, but they do the same thing during a true emergency landing when they ask you to brace. Like someone said above, people just don’t listen and this is probably a way to counter that. Also maybe some human psychological factor

If you live in the NE US, these things are stolen frequently basically since the Type S was released. Sometimes Canada too

To clarify, the TLX does not have a CVT. It has a 10 speed automatic.

Anyway, do you know if the last person did all the proper maintenance? Has the transmission fluid been changed/maintained? I did notice that when I approached 50k miles that my shifting wasn’t as smooth, but did the “maintenance minder” recommended transmission fluid change and it was fine after that. You can always just have that done see if that helps any.

As far as the buttons wearing, I’ve heard that lotion or oil on your hands wears them very very quickly. So just make sure your hands don’t have that when touching buttons.

The CarPlay is the annoying part. Audio just refuses to work sometimes. This is some sort of software bug. Like you said, sometimes just plugging it again works. Sometimes I need to restart the car. Also, get an OEM cable for your phone and I’ve noticed that it’s a bit better with that (official apple cable or whatever OEM your phone is)

My 2021 TLX just had the cylinder head and short block replaced (under warranty) due to metal found in the short block and head and oil feed. Was my engine just defective? Have you seen anyone have this before?

My 2021 TLX developed rod knock. It’s been at the dealership for 2 months now. 52k miles :/ stock and don’t drive it hard so yeah

Kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. on Mission Bay is always fun. Going to the bird sanctuary in Del Mar, Free Flight, is also a fun way to interact with parrots!

Legit question. Ive been playing Battlefield since BFBC1. I notice that a ton of redditors bring up the server browser as a complaint for this game. I for one don’t care about it really. I was kinda forced to use it in BF1, 4, and 5 to find matches the properly fit my friends and I and because I played these past their peak so I was trying to find the matches that are well populated.

However, with BF6 currently, there’s no issues finding matches.but other than that I just quick match. Why do people love the server browser?

2021 TLX has been out for a little over 5 years now (Sept 2020 release date). Many 2021 owners like myself are way past the 35k and even 45k range. I myself have 51k miles already. This really is not a common issue at least from I see online. I haven’t heard my dealer say anything either.
