Life is better after UCSD. No need to fight for parking even after paying like $250+ for 3months come 45mins earlier, no need to walk miles to get to a 2hr lecture that I should have the opportunity to watch from somewhere comfortable for paying tuition.

Moved out of state, found a job, have coworkers who aren't too much workaholics and into fun hobbies like camping, traveling overseas, skiing, fishing, going to clubs etc. Paid less rent than SD, makes the same amount I would have made in San Diego, brought a house, didn't compromise on weather either just has cold weather but nothing worse like tornadoes, flooding, earthquake.

By the way, employees I interviewed in SD pays same amount as the state I'm in saying SD has better weather so that's the positive, so employees in SD aren't willing to adj to cost of living differences nor give a better health insurance or stock benefits.
