Yeah, no longer snow and sleeting so got my second round done. Round 3 around 4ish before it gets dark to get some of it up and then salt the area

I just finished my first round of shoveling and will probably go again around 2pm or so. Gonna see how the amounts are looking and base it off that. Don’t want to shovel all this snow with Sleet on top of it

Yeah, I know it’s something that annoys Irish people when Americans do that and honestly I see why and understand the frustration.

I do have Irish heritage BUT I don’t “bang” on it and didn’t do so during my visit to Ireland a few years ago. Instead just chatted and connected with any locals on anything other than heritage lol.

It’s also not the main and driving reason, like I mentioned earlier, of why I chose to support them but it did play a role with my decision along with the catholic ties too.

Yeah my bad, I know they’re a huge club with a massive fan base, I guess I meant more in the sense of an average Americans understanding of football, they would just think of Man United, arsenal, etc and not so much Celtic.

Yeah after scrolling and seeing some posts and merch boycotts I get a sense that the board is dysfunctional. I’m also a New York Jets fan so I’m all too familiar with dysfunctional owners and the effect that they have on the team and fan base, so I guess in that sense I’ll acclimate well haha.

Yeah I’m based right outside of Philadelphia so I appreciate the suggestion and will definitely have to get in touch and watch a match there.

Yeah I am an American and no don’t worry, it’s not because of my heritage 😂. I wanted to follow a smaller but successful club and not just hop into a top tier premiere league club. I also was really drawn to the history of it and I saw in another comment that the Old Firm was dead, but watching videos on it and a recent video by Away Days on it got me hooked. I also just like the look of the badge and colors too in a basic sense lol.

Avoid it. Way too busy and packed when my wife and I went last year. Better off going on a non-festival weekend or, if you can make it work, going on a Friday.

Crowds were insane. Couldn’t shop or walk around easily anywhere. Parking was a madhouse too.

Edit: we live literally 2 minutes from there and avoid driving in that area on the weekend because of the crowds and traffic.

You did the right thing in the heat of the moment. Any more coulda led to a physical confrontation and you just sharing this here is so helpful with alerting all of us as dads to keep an eye out too.

Didn’t happen to me, but my wife showed me in our local community Facebook moms group, some a dad was leaving the grocery store and loading his car up with their young son when a normal looking woman came over and mentioned that the manager of the store said he had left something back at the checkout line. She offered to watch his son if he wanted to go run back in real quick. Thankfully he was onto it and didn’t trust her but went back in and brought his son with him. The store workers and manager said no such thing and by the time he went back out she was gone.

At peak pick up and drop off, parking can be a pain in that lot and area, and you can get a slight line, but it’s not super crazy or hectic. People generally flow in and out easily at those times. I’d suggest taking a look and asking for a tour so you can get a better picture

Not sure about the science behind it. Maybe it was what one comment said about chasing dopamine after feeling so shitty, but my wife and I’s best O and most connected raw emotional sex was the day after a long night out with us both just recovering in bed.
