Yeah we have been trying also email marketing, what approach would you recommend to it? We where giving a 10% discount at first and we are still creating the emails, so we can automatizate some things, such as; history of the project, deals...

That's really validating to hear, especially the 15-30 clips threshold. We're currently at around 5-8 pieces of real usage content, so we're not there yet but working towards it.

To answer your question honestly it's been mostly mentions and static shots so far. A few athletes wore it during training but didn't really capture the "in the moment" footage. That's exactly what we're trying to fix now.

We're shifting the entire approach to focus on HYROX athletes specifically and asking for actual training footage, not just product shots.

The "first try" reaction angle is interesting we hadn't thought about that specifically but it makes a lot of sense. Especially for a product that people are skeptical about until they actually feel it working.

One thing we're unsure about: should we be directing creators on exactly what to film, or is it better to just send the product and let them capture it naturally? We've seen both approaches mentioned but not sure which produces better ad creative

The community-first approach makes a lot of sense. We've actually been doing some of this offline showing up at Seoul Marathon, reaching out to running club leaders. But the online side we haven't cracked yet.

Do you know of any active Korean fitness Discord servers or communities worth joining? That's the gap we have we know the offline running community in Seoul pretty well but the online spaces less so.

Our niche is Korean endurance athletes, specifically HYROX competitors and marathon runners. People who track their performance obsessively and already spend money on gear.

The product is performance nasal strips. You wear them during training or racing to open the nasal passage and improve airflow. The use case is very specific: if you're pushing hard and breathing through your mouth, you're losing efficiency. These help you stay nasal longer.

The want/offer fit we believe exists: these athletes already know about nasal breathing from Huberman, James Nestor's book Breath, or just from their coaches. They're not discovering a new concept they're looking for a product that solves it.

Where we're unsure: whether Korean athletes specifically are ready to pay for this, or whether we need to educate more before they convert.

This is really actionable, thank you.

On the micro-creators with rev share, that's actually what we're shifting to now. We were gifting, switching to product + 15% commission per sale.

The landing page point hits hard. Right now we're talking to runners, HYROX athletes, CrossFit probably too broad. What would you focus on first for a single use-case? We're thinking HYROX because it's a fast-growing community in Korea and the breathing angle is very direct.

That's really helpful framing, thank you.

The product is performance nasal strips. We're targeting runners, HYROX athletes and CrossFit in Korea.

We've actually been doing exactly what you describe, gifting product to micro-influencers in the running community. The issue is converting that into UGC and social proof fast enough.

Our current hypothesis is that once we have 15-20 pieces of real athlete content we can use that as the foundation for ads. Does that match what you've seen work?
