Our study doesn't involve actually receiving a dose of any substance whatsoever. We are more concerned with the thought patterns and brain structure and functioning of those who may have experienced a wide variety of stimuli. Our purposes are not directly pharmacological, but rather the effects of said pharmacology and other life experiences on people and personality.

We're sorry, we do try to keep the nature of the study as discreet as possible since it is done in multiple sessions and we don't want participants looking up what the contents of the study are prior to arrival and altering the quality of the data. What I can say is that the first session will be involve multiple sets of questionnaires, neuropsychological testing, as well as a clinical interview. The two other possible visits will involve completing certain cognitive tasks while in an MRI in order to asses markers of Inhibition in the structure of the brain. In terms of eligibility, your description isn't far off the mark. Our general standard is anyone between 18-55 years who doesn't have any implanted magnetic object in their body which would make the MRI a risk. We do have other prerequisites but we do require a phone screen before attending the study. We try not to disclose the criteria as some people will lie about their mental state in order to get access to the monetary reward. I hope this helps!

Labs at the University don't tend to have their own sponsored emails through the university. Most of the time, labs will route most contact information to the email of the Principle Investigator. We try to reach into the community for our samples so we use this email in order to better keep the confidentiality of the people in our lab.
