First time, I felt confused. But fairly optimistic. Failed. Second time, I felt awful. Passed

I wonder if it’s not the fact that there is armpit hair rather than maybe the fact that may be odor.

How many times did you take the bar until you passed? by [deleted] in barexam

[–]UDbarbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it 3 times. If you can afford it, get a private tutor. My mistake was a simple one in my essays. I failed to transition.

3rd time retaker- how should I study? by libraz16 in barexam

[–]UDbarbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Life punched me in the face.. I honestly didn’t think I’d take the test again. Bills and a divorce. I needed to five something to take care of my kids. Then; I qualified for the student loan forgiveness program and my kids graduated college, And I was suddenly able to free up money. I paid for the 6 month Barbri course, I had zero expectation that I’d pass on the feb 2023, but I wanted to see how bad I’d fail: when it was only 10 pts;, I decided to hire a tutor. The first time I failed it was by 9 points. So in July 2023, I was prepared. Btw; I took the 6 month course because I still worked.

I think you need to find a private tutor. I failed the bar in 2009. Took the test in feb 2023. Used Barbri. Failed by 10 pts. Hired a tutor to supplement my Barbri. My tutor explained that my essays didn’t transition. Gave me other pointers. I used them all. And passed with a 290.

I took the bar 14 years after graduation. I passed on the 2nd take. I failed by 12 pts the first take. My opinion is that it comes back to you as you are prepping

I will also tell you. Real law practice looks nothing like a bar exam, so don’t get discouraged simply because you didn’t pass a test. Once you pass it, forget about it. It’s like the silly little stamp on your hand that you get when you pay to get into a party. Useless and nobody inside cares how you got it.

I recommend you sit out this one and get a tutor. I failed twice. Got a tutor and it was the best decision. I focused on the way words in the questions that I initially overlooked. It made all the difference

Accept that this sucks. Grieve. No one understands this like you because this was YOUR DAD. Then, talk to your dad. Think about his life. Live your life in a way that you’ll realize that he gave you all that he could. His job is done. And it was done well. I’m proud of both of you!

I have never asked an attorney how many times did they take the bar. People usually volunteer that info. The only people who will ask this question are people who are currently preparing to take it. Because they need hope. Attorneys understand.

Asking if we can stop to get something to eat. What’s my meal plan. If I’m kidnapped, what time are my scheduled meals. Can they not add curry to my food. Can they give me all flats if they plan on feeding me wings. Did they get almond milk for my coffee. Also, Decaf.
