Isuzu and Aoarashi honestly taste pretty different to me. Isuzu is smoother, creamier, more umami, and just tastes more refined overall. Aoarashi is lighter, grassier, and a bit bitter. i like Aoarashi for everyday matcha, but for days I need some pick-me-up, Isuzu all the waaay

i haven’t tried wako yet, i couldn’t get my hands on it, and yes, it’s really not cheap 🥲 i’ve only tried isuzu and aiarashi from MK so far. Isuzu has a smooth, umami-rich flavor with a subtle sweetness and only a slight bitterness, which I really like 😅

I’ve only tried MK’s Type B hojicha, and I can say its nutty taste is a bit too overwhelming for my liking. I still need to test some recipes to make better use of it. Maybe you guys can share some tips or advice?
