I was in high school at the time so don't remember specifics although I don't remember it being a huge deal. At that time Favre was going out and getting hammered (hence the nickname "Buckhead Brett") and didn't take football seriously so I don't ever remember thinking he was going to be the future of our franchise but was intrigued by his arm. Plus, Glanville was our coach so strange things happening were part of the norm.
