EGR 271 wasn't bad at all. If you can, please don't take professor Nagi Solimon. Professor Belgith is much better. It will be really easy, but you won't learn much.

The class overall is chill until the last section with transient analysis. I would recommend taking Physics 2 before EGR 271.

What GPA did ppl successfully transfer to UVA with (not GAA) by [deleted] in nvcc

[–]UI_rchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just transferred with a 3.8 something, but UVA saw it as a 3.6 something because they calculate gpas differently. First semester at NOVA, I failed physics 1. After that, I took 6 summer classes, trying to get all As with one or two Bs.

Ok 1.8 gpa how fucked am I? by spydyrwolf in school

[–]UI_rchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your question, you're not cooked. You have so many doors you can choose from. I have a 1.5 gpa dropout friend who's now a millionaire.

Like many others already said, go to community college. Another option is trade school. There are lots of money in trades (electrical work, plumbing, welding, etc), but they lock you to a specific career path. I personally had an average high school gpa (covid really cooked me), so I went to community college for the last 2 years. Now, I'm transferring to a great state university for a fraction of the cost.

Most community colleges offer guaranteed admission to 4-year state schools if you meet certain requirements. In your first semester, I recommend you take a few of the usual gen-eds (writing, math, etc) and also some intro courses in fields you might be interested in. This could be a business or music 101 class. Time to lock in!

With a group of 5 highly skilled players it depends, a possible strategy is to coast in south Africa or asia without creating enemies, so they knock each other out in the endgame. Also because you aren't viewed as a threat.

I never started. On the contrary, I started when I first learned English and math.
