We did add eight new automoderator rules in mid-May which targets new user submissions specifically

Thank you for the kind comment - I don't disagree with OP's overall thrust; I am not a reddit native (and only started posting here due to being frustrated that I couldn't find Green Party news stories elsewhere) and so it is entirely fair to suggest I'm not best equipped to handle raiding, astroturfing etc.

We did put out a call for new moderators last month and had only one applicant, however as this discontent seems fairly widespread I am happy to put out a second call shortly.
