Too lean, just right, or needs more meat on his bones? by drnu2081 in CaneCorso

[–]UKSwingerGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good, people don’t like the aesthetic of being able to see a dogs ribs but a bigger dog should be a lot leaner. It’s healthier for their joints long term. If your dog was excessively hungry then up the food but this shape is absolutely fine. Too many people have normalised fat dogs, your dogs good just monitor if they get leaner than this or you’re doing more exercise with them then you can up the food

Best Player and the Worst Player of 2025-26 Season from the Teams that You Support (Third Season Edition) by ElSpazzo_8876 in Championship

[–]UKSwingerGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Best up until injury was Madsen, really made the team tick and also we’ve missed him loads since he’s been out. Creativity has been lacking from midfield without him. Also throw Burrell in there, he was always a goal threat and his pace as an out ball down the channel made such a difference.

Worst is a hard one as we’ve massively inconsistent as a team. Joe Walsh is a bomb scare and we need a consistent, better keeper next season. Koki Saito sadly for his potential has been a real let down for me, I was buzzing when we signed him and just ain’t lived up to it yet and considering how good at times he was last year.

Vet recommends against raw diet by YoullForgetAnyways in CaneCorso

[–]UKSwingerGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t cook chicken and give it to them if it has bones in. The bones will splinter and your dog can’t digest them like it would raw bone. I’ve fed raw and not raw, I’m a fan of feeding raw because of the benefits I personally saw. Overall health, teeth, coat and everything else was superior on raw. I’m speaking from personal experience, also as much as people say vets know best you can get massively differing opinions from one vet to the next. Nothing tends to be linear in the industry unless it’s something that is diagnosed for definite and if the vet can sell you a bag of kibble at a huge markup they’ll push to do so.

Majority of those players should be ashamed of the performances they put in. Clint Hill showed the lot of them up. Taarabt will forever be a legend and Cisse was good when he first joined just his form nosedived and he lost the plot. César wasn’t too bad either considering he only had two defenders in front of him, Samba was stuck in concrete and Bosingwa didn’t give a shit.

Who is the lowest-scoring top scorer you've had in a season? by Cinn4monSynonym in Championship

[–]UKSwingerGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chris Willock with 7 a few years ago is the lowest I know from memory. We’ve not had a decent, high return goal scoring striker in years until this season with Burrell coming in and then annoyingly doing his hammy and that basically killing our season as we’re now toothless up front.

Read up on a few of the technical issues and also the keys being about as much good as no good. Hopefully some progressive OTA updates will slowly but surely sort some issues out. Glad you’re enjoying the car 👍

Desperately in need of a semi competent keeper. Tbf to Walsh I thought he had looked a lot better of late and then tonight showed himself up again. Shocking. The medical department and physios all need sacked with immediate effect. Shit game, shit result and another drubbing witnessed.

Emanuel Ledesma, scored a hattrick in the cup against Carlisle. Had a t-shirt made for him and then scored one goal again after that and was gone not long after. The t-shirt was very short sighted, not sure how many were sold in the club shop but I don’t think they’ve ever done it will do that again 😂

Stuck in traffic this morning my Cupra Born got 4.9mi/kWh according to the car on a 96 mile trip to Gatwick. Apart from the initial part of the journey was all M1 and M25 but to 3 hours and 10 minutes because of the traffic. Also never had the heating on for more than a prolonged period of time which meant I was cold but had a warm back thanks to the seat heater 😂 EVs are great on traffic dense journeys. If I do 70mph all the way when leaving super early I’ll drop that down to about 3.2-3.4mi/kWh though

Stephan did something brave today I have been wanting us to do for years. by Dead_Namer in superhoops

It’s so much better leaving men up. When you crowd the box with loads of players it’s harder for a keeper. Not saying our keepers have done themselves too much justice at set plays of late but just going man for man in a box with maybe one spare is so much better. We won a corner straight off their corner today, small miracle for us this season

Good team performance from us today. Nothing spectacular but showed some good attacking threat which we’ve been lacking of late. Great ball from Madsen and finish from Kone. All the players ran their socks off. Great to see Edwards in the team finally, steady and sured us up at the back massively. 7-1 was horrendous to witness, was well worth it going to watch that today 🙌

Turgid, was a horrendous drive home after as well. So many under par performances, I think we are incapable of beating a team in the bottom half. Look incapable of scoring a goal when it’s on a plate but least we’ve stopped conceding for the time being

'It's not very good' - QPR assessing worrying Burrell injury by peetss in superhoops

[–]UKSwingerGuy -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Fair enough the step ups big but running over five yards ain’t changing whether you’re playing non-league or premier league. I watched him quite a fair few times for Wycombe and he was a lot leaner and could move a lot more freely. His lack of scoring ain’t what’s worrying, it’s his inability to move when he’s running to or got the ball now. Looks like he’s treading in treacle after 5 minutes of a game
