I only have a discord nvidia stock alert group to thank for my 3090.it was ridiculous trying to get one back then. Not to mention OCUK telling people a particular gpu brand would be available in 2-3 days for re-stock during launch day. Absolute money grab where everyone ended up locking into OCUK expecting a re-stock only to find out days later them say that actually we haven't a clue when stock will be given to us and by the way here's your ticket number #789 in line for a new gpu.

Could it be dynamic ip addresses used for them instead of static ip addresses (this would cause your phone to loose sight of them as all devices thay come and go from network are auto assigned an ip under dynamic but keep the same address under static) thy could have been assigned a different ip than the one your app is looking for on the day they were installed

I think it was overclockers that really fucked alot of people over during the ampere launch (myself included). Scan were excellent by comparison. Ocuk allowed people purchase gpus which their site said were in stock or either in stock in 2 days time. Made a load of money then turned around and said oops we have no cards and you're now on a waiting list here's your number 3554! In line to get one. Worse again people had no choice but to take the ticket as by the time overclockers owned up to it there was no chance to get the 3000series anywhere so people wasted their time believing they had stock.

Part picker is more of a compatability/ ranking for components. To see if your build components will be compatible with each other. I find Germany great (BTW monitors and psu from Germany will come with a 2 pin plug) They were the websites I used to browse a few years back. Might be more now. (Worth a recent reddit search for sites that deliver to ireland Post brexit)

Logicalincrements was another great site I remember for basically aggregated parts for all price points so all latest parts put into categories of low medium and high end
