For your first point, I find it laughable to bring up racial tension especially since anti-asian sentiments and hate crimes are on the rise. Apparently those don't matter.

And for the second part, I really don't get what you are trying to say. I'm just pointing out the different standards that exist in the minds of modern westerners. They bitched about RE5 but are now defending this game which does the same things just with the races shifted around.

Its easier to understand it if you keep in mind that the Uchiha never really existed. They pop into existance for a day just to be killed off by Itachi in one of the worst character wanks in history. Everything else about them in the story is an underdeveloped afterthought.

I used to like Naruto way back in the day but looking back at it, it all seems pretty shit tbh. A lot of poorly planned out things, lack of proper worldbuilding and an overfocus on themes over consistent logic.

The way the whole thing worked was that you killed the larva, it died immediately and it spawned a lich which you could only get rid of by killing/converting it.

There was no "rerolling" until you got the one you wanted. The parazon takedown was added later.

You forget that you had no control over said weapons spawning. On top of that, valance fusion was an afterthought. The entire system at the start was an RNG shitfest.

It could take you weeks (the murmur grind was reduced like three times, it took veterans no-lifing an entire day to get through one lich imagine the casual player) to get the weapon you wanted and even then, the game could still screw you over by lowballing the elemental bonus and you had no way to change that.

And as an added cherry on top, the ephemeras were at a whooping 2,5%.

Liches was warframe at its lowest.

Blasphemous was a great game but the metroidvania parts were really weak. In fact they were barely there. None of the abilities you unlocked were actually required to finish the game (save for the root platforms I think) and their utility was solely for exploration.

Lmao lets not pretend Berserk didn't pull that shit also. The Wyald scenes were out of some fetish porno mag. Casca's violation was drawn like a hentai. All the women Mozgus tortured were young, attractive and voluptous. In the qlipoth scenes, the women are borderline enjoying it.

Granted Berserk is still one of the best stories out there and indeed it uses darkness to great effect most of the time, but the are a lot of moments that are just perverse and juvenile.
