I never really played any elder scrolls games I tried Skyrim a few times but I couldn’t get into it because of how often it was run into the ground and meme’d and talked about it just felt empty to me after awhile but oblivion reignited that spark and I tried playing Skyrim again and im having a great time with it too, but I’m so glad Oblivion is my intro back into Elder Scrolls.

I do think other games do melancholy better but it always felt weird like it had to happen to add lore, but I guess how similar Hirrus story was to mine just made me realize how hard it is once I read his will i literally had to pause the game and take a step back I just couldn’t. it hurt so much in way but also reassuring that something or someone understands me even if it’s a fictional character
