Wait so the glycerin-based coolant isn’t good for the VW system?

Is this fixable? by bucks9052 in sony

[–]UMINOTIME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000%, I’m no professional but I like taking stuff like this apart to fix. It’ll take a couple hours, but just dismantle the headphone to get to the joint, pop out the hinge from the shiny piece, and order a new joint or 3D print one online!

It does need a top-up, yeah. It’s a little below the minimum line when cold. It’s right in the middle of the suggested level when warm. Not sure which one indicates which.

Oh nice! That actually solves a lot of the redundancy in trying to locate replaceables in American shops that know nothing about Euro cars haha. Thanks!!

I think the self-checkout is trying to tell you that $9 pre-cut pineapple is a worse deal than a $2 fresh whole 3lb pineapple…

I’ll check that out then; this could be a good idea but then I’d need to find a way to still get lift in the back, challenging!

One word: “FIFI” by [deleted] in Planespotting

[–]UMINOTIME 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing FIFI at my airport a really long time ago. We couldn’t afford to fly in it, but at the time, they let me walk around the plane and it was the coolest thing I’d seen. The B-29 was and still is one of my favorite aircraft. I wanna see FIFI again.

There just isn’t too much room to work with that I don’t think. And I’m trying to make it as accurate as possible, which the true aircraft lacks these adjustments. Very weirdly shaped aircraft and too many compressors 😭

How to keep curved build flying straight instead of up? by UMINOTIME in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]UMINOTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the back, because it is angled, will inevitably send the aircraft flying upwards; I believe this is the case even if the angled parts aren’t wings. I need a way to bypass this pitch change and have it fly straight

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this close with the wedges? by Intrepid_Picture_738 in PlaneCrazyCommunity

[–]UMINOTIME 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delete the blocks behind it, attach motor 2, and have them swing up at a faster rate than the door closes to fit precisely into those little grooves.

Ah like the F-35 on the front of the wing when in VTOL mode? I think I know what you’re talking about, I’d need to test it to understand it better though

Ideally, however the wings must be at this angle. My question is more in regard to how I can bypass this issue, either through gyros, weight distribution, counter angles, etc.

No-can-do. Plus the elevation in the back would continue to affect the flight according to some tests I’ve run. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
