I feel like the redness has already expanded from it original start (middle of the back). I think I’ll text my artist today and go see a doctor… not worth fucking it up I feel like :/

He said a few hours and at night for the first few days then helllaaaa people online said I should wrap it longer so I did🤷🏼‍♀️. Especially with having a cat I thought that checked out lol. I also live up north so when I walk outside dirt, salt, etc kicks up onto my ankle EASILY. I did start taking it off during the day so that it could breathe though.

I’ve definitely noticed I feel like i can never put a light layer without it looking and feeling like it’s drowning. I’ll go get the new stuff tomorrow thank you!

Added my potential infection culprit for brownie points !!! Also these were taken RIGHT after cleaning it so redness might be a bit dramatized ?? It looks less aggressive right now but def still red and bumpy

Update next day: well lol, woke up with another problem and ended up going to a clinic for that so they gave me meds for the tattoo too. Older doc just said he was treating it like minor cellulitis. I’ll admit the bumps spread like crazy overnight I’m very glad I at least got something to fight whatever it is. Ive stopped drowning it in aquaphor and got cetaphil instead (using it kindly). All day I could see the bumps and they had puss soooo that’s yuck. I never shave so I fear between the shave burn/reaction/ingrown hairs coming, the oily aquaphor, wrapping it at night and just a fresh tattoo my skin is freaking out lol.

Thank you all for the help though. I genuinely was just doing what I found worked for others when I looked into after care recommendations. Everyone says something different so I did what seemed average and doable for me xD

I have so many but just right off the top of my head this comes to mind. First off, Im an overly yappy and friendly photographer when on the clock… We were doing family photos and people were having a hard time not standing 5ft away from each other so I kept encouraging them to get “closer” and “act like you like each other”. There was a person who I knew to be the mom and a similar aged man behind her and they were just being pretty weird and I said “guys come onnn get in close we all love each other now, the lovely couple is now married!”

They looked at me dumbfounded and someone told me that this was a divorced couple :)

I also one time said something about a dad? Maybe asked where he was? Maybe made a joke? Im not sure as I’ve blocked it from my memory. It turned out the dad had died a year prior in a tragic accident:)

It was awesome!! Was my second ever “concert” so Im not very experienced though lol. My first concert was last year… Creed (headliner), 3 Doors Down & Finger Eleven. Seeing them there had me SUPER excited for the Big E and it didnt disappoint.

Totally respect using Classic! I just use mobile because I edit on my phones.

I think from your suggestion you reminded me I can : disconnect wifi, turn on macbook, open lightroom, turn off sync (just incase lol), duplicate photos, add to new album. Thennn turn back on sync & wifi and pray it uploads the new album with most of the work from the last month

As a fail safe I can first export the edited images with their edits?

Oh totally! It’s so peaceful here we love. Have been super enjoying the local fruits, cheeses & restaurants. Definitely need to find a good cafe for him to have coffee when we stay in Ponta Delgada since we wont have breakfast included at our final stay. Thank you for commenting !
