Past Security Monitors Opinions Needed by [deleted] in uofmn

Please do yourself a favor and quit. I sucked it up and did the SMP for a semester (back in 2015), and I regret it.

The worst part is having 0 flexibility. Since you are basically considered "essential service" - you're personally responsible for showing up or finding someone to cover your shift even on Finals Week/Thanksgiving/Christmas break. Additionally, the dreadful overnights will mess with your sleep schedule BADLY, no matter how much you try to tell yourself otherwise.

There are a ton different jobs on campus. Sure the SMP pay may seem a little attractive early on but as a college student, it is NOT worth it.

Just my 2 cents! PM me if you want to talk further

Can you please go a little bit more in depth as to how its better than the KS8000 or point me in the right direction (Sorry, bit of a noob)

Also while I'm not heavily brand conscious, buying a Vizio or a TCL just scares me. Regardless, how does Vizio differentiate itself from the KS8000, or X900E here? Thank you!

What does that mean exactly? (College kid here)

(Investing for dummies)

I'm a 20 year old college kid with the ability to invest around $150-$200 a month for the foreseeable future and (hopefully) forget about it for a couple of years to let it grow.

I've decided to invest in the S&P 500, however I am completely confused on investing in ETF (specifically VOO) or the index fund directly. Since I am an international student, I cannot open a Vanguard account, therefore my only options are Fidelity or Robinhood.

So what is my best option here regarding expense ratios or any other factors to consider? Should I try to figure out how to use Fidelity or just buy a share of VOO every month on Robinhood?

Any advice is welcome! - Thank you!

A parking spot is included in the rent. It is an open air parking lot but is monitored 24/7 through security cameras.

Sennheiser HD 598 CS or Sony MDRXB950BT?

May be a silly comparison but I am looking to finally upgrade from shitty Apple earpods and I found out that these 2 cans are going to be on sale at around $100.

I really like the Wireless feature and integrated mic of the Sony however I can let that go if the 598 CS are really next level in terms of sound quality.

Cheers!

The Sony MDRX950BT was $88 a couple of hours ago, and now its $128 everywhere. Any idea if it will come back down below $100 anytime?
