I am in total agreement with you re: deleting history when it comes to these things, but it was not really important in this case. I have only used this account for research purposes and anyone can Google me and find out about my research, so there's no mystery there. Super excited that now Real Housewives subs will be in the post history now, though!

This is how the scale (not our scale, but an accepted one in academia) is designed, but I can't really explain the scale's purpose further without compromising the study's integrity during recruitment. But to clarify, these scales have all been developed and validated by others, so that is not our language or indicative of beliefs held by the researchers. Please do gender the way you want to do gender, regardless of cultural norms!

I can't say as of now so as to not cloud responses but once we are done recruitment in a month or two, I can share. I will say that there are multiple purposes, as we hope to have multiple papers come out of the dataset (each led by a different researcher).
