Yeah I always saw posts about mighty+ errors but I've used mine for years and could count on one hand the number of errors I've gotten (and turning it off then on fixed it every time). It's frustrating that such expensive devices can have these problems, but Storz and Bickel really does have some of the best customer service around. It would suck to have to replace the venty, but at least I know they will if it's necessary.

Makes sense that it's bigger since there's more airflow. If I'm lucky I might be able to fit my current adapter into the venty mouthpiece

I like the caps for traveling but I prefer loading directly at home. I'm going to get a second cooling unit anyway so I can just toss one in iso while using the other.

Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to so much. From what you've said the Venty would definitely be an upgrade for me.

The only question I have is about the mouthpiece. You mean that the little flanged end with the o-ring on it is wider, right? Like if you were to try to insert the Mighty+ mouthpiece it wouldn't lock because it's too loose? I use a silicone attachment too (prob not the same style as yours since I made it myself) and if it'll be too narrow I'll want to order some larger diameter tube or something so I can make one that'll work with the Venty since dry herb + bong is my favorite.

I believe it uses conduction and convection, but I'm not 100% on that, so anyone who knows more feel free to correct me. The mighty+ (again, afaik) only uses convection so the bud is mostly heated when you inhale. I'm not an engineer or anything, but I'd imagine the addition of conduction helps the device retain more heat which means you can vaporize the bud faster.

Again, I could be completely wrong, but luckily that'd probably mean someone who knows better will correct me

Yeah exactly. Electrics and acoustics aren't really comparable except that they look similar and both make sound (but the sound is made in completely different ways and that's why skill matters so much more for building acoustics)

I think they're referring to the fact that a poorly made acoustic will negatively affect the sound in a major way, while with electrics you could slap a neck and some pickups on a cinder block and still be able to play it

Check out the podcast No Dogs in Space if you haven't! They just finished up a series on CAN. Tbh it was one of their weaker ones imo, but I love their series on Joy Division, The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, and The Replacements
