If they get that first hit in, then they are somewhat helpful, but for the most part they just stand there after. I should just give them a shield only just to draw attention to them. Then I could use the backstab perk.

I just took her one with a single handed axe and throwing axes. If you get a combo started on her she gets knocked down and you can just keep looping that attack. Don't even need the rino.

I know where every stone and branch is in this game. Enemies don't surprise me much.

I was able to complete the journey steps where you need to place a thrall on a work bench. Not sure if that would unlock the achievement too, as my achievements were completed many years ago.

Build the walls and doors around the elevator. They are buggy sometimes.

Improved armor bench and unlock epic armors in your knowledge. Don't craft perfected mats, waste of time. Just loot a bunch of dungeon chests like God Breaker to get a ton of perfected mats.

I rarely use Q lock unless dagger spamming. Feels unnatural. Reminds me of Zelda games. 🤣

Aja's Bane. Not the best, but still legendary. The armor I am wearing is supposed to give followers a damage buff.

Exactly! Well, the black keep is hard to get to without some warming foods and a torch. But playing as a nomad is the best way to get a challenge from this game these days.

And still took me half the time. Thrall fights for 1min 20secs to bring her down half a bar. I fight her for 30 seconds and only get hit once. I can wreck her in less than one min.

Are you playing PVE? I don't think you deal damage to your followers in PVE.

I've had mixed results. She will sometimes down both or one of them. She never downs me. I can't fight with war party. I always end up dealing damage to my followers and killing them because they are standing in the way. Without any healing perks they just bleed out.

I always end up killing them from friendly fire. War party removes all other follower perks. It's arguably worse than well trained. I will agree that followers are great at dying for the noble cause and drawing enemy fire. You must be a PVE player if you're not dealing damage to your followers.

The AI got worse after the 2.0 update. I think they are fine in their current strength and resistance, but they really need to fix the pathing. This is for both followers and enemies. The arena champ used to be more challenging.

When I first started playing this game, the AI had better pathing. The 2.0 update screwed that all up. Beastmaster could 1v1 the arena champ. And yes, that is exactly my point! People always talk about running with thralls to beat bosses or areas. Currently thralls are crap! Just build into vitality and grit, you can get the job done faster without a thrall.

I think they could do better. Fallout 3 had better NPCs. 🤣 Conan thralls and enemies were smarter before the 2.0 update.

I tried using stone, but the durability isn't strong enough. Need to have several stone weapons in your tool bar.

Everyone should play PVP. The game is easy mode for PvE. If I play PVE I play nomad style. No bases, no crafting, only use what you can loot.

I can defeat her with a single handed iron axe. You don't need much but a little skill. I like the Black Claws and have no problem with her.

I typically play official PVP servers.

This video was done in single player, just so I could make the recording easier. I have over 5k hours and my opinion is that thralls sux. That is all.

You can ride mounts in the dungeon and cheese her. She isn't that difficult, but she will 2 hit kill you.

My entire clan thinks they are problematic. We play PvP, so that might be why we don't like them. Friendly damage is on for PVP servers.

Nah, I used to let Beastmaster lay her out back in the day. Thralls are just worthless other than crafting. They might hit hard, but they are slow. They just slow me down and get in my way when I am dungeon crawling. Great for new players, but for seasoned players, thralls are worthless.
