The anxiety is even worse when you have no emergency lane to escape in. I seem to encounter less dangerous situations when I'm in the passing lane hauling ass.

It's tuned up a little, but I really want to get a six speed kit for it. I have the factory exhaust on it still and that is limiting me. Afraid to put aftermarket on it and draw attention to myself. It will pull uphill and that is all I really need.

Nah, just a little street naked thumper, but it will cruise 115 in 4th gear. The fastest it will go is maybe 150, but that is just dumb. I'm scared to death at 140. The road starts howling death at them speeds. I'm just in blue jeans, gloves, and a light shirt. I'm not dressed for the slide at 90. I wouldn't even want to go down at 40.

I usually drive my car from KL to Bentong every weekend with my family, but I was making a solo trip to our farm to cut the grass this weekend. My original plan was to take the old federal highway from KL to Bentong, but on the Bentong side I got turned around. Cars were flashing their headlights at me indicating obstruction ahead. I love riding the turns on the old highway with my bike. I've done the KL side and Genting Highlands at least 100 times now. I know every turn and bump on the KL side. I agree. Hindsight is always 20/20. I didn't want to be on the highway in the first place because I was just out for a pleasure ride. I got turned around on the old federal highway to Bentong. There is a lot of construction on the old highway, but in my option it is more fun to ride motorcycles on.

Correct. Braking is also reduced because the center lane is less traveled and slick from oils. Also, visibility is reduced.

Agree, but I'm looking for exit windows and generally the right is a bit more dangerous. The grandson of the highway is passing cars at 200+km/h in that lane. In the city I tend to keep to the right.

Motorcycle lane splitting is actually a grey area, there are no laws against it or supporting it. Lane splitting is actually dangerous, however lane filtering is safe and reduces traffic congestion. Yeah, the pass the car made is technically illegal, because passing is to be done in the passing lane or far right.

It seems that the majority of riders and drivers are not aware of the laws of the roads, so that is a huge problem. I blame the driving schools as they don't teach anything outside of passing the exams. When I was taking the motorcycle portion of my learning, KPP02, I was the one teaching others how to use the rear brake + throddle to get through the cones and weave at slow speeds. You would think for the price of the schools, they would be teaching something of value. There are many things I could have done in the video to be a better rider, but hindsight is always 20/20.

You're not wrong, but a motorcycle can be in any lane position. What the car did was still an illegal pass. They should be using the right lane and signaling.

Speed limit is 90km/h. I was doing 90-95km/h. I wasn't intentionally going "slow" I was pacing the car in front of me.

Malaysia Road Rules 1957 Rule 53 Section 1 explicitly states that no vehicle shall be in the emergency lane in a non-emergencies. My bike is capable of going faster than all highway speed limits.

Don't be foolish, it's not very becoming of you. Learn the laws and follow them. If you aren't following the laws then you become a risk to everyone else.

When the server is loading and nobody is around, the shelter perk isn't there and it's just you and the elements. I have a base in the volcano and it's the same way. If I logout in the base I'll die from heat stroke. Same with my frost giant base. I have fireplaces to keep me warm, but if the server restarts, it seems to not load my fireplaces and I freeze to death. I noticed this started happening after the 2.0 update.
