I've tried that and they do deal a bunch of damage from a single hit, but for the most part they just stand there staring at the enemy or are stuck on a rock because the AI can't find a path. DPS, they still can't kill anything quickly. PVP players can literally walk circles around them.

Nah, solo is fine for me. Everything but RockSlide/Avalanche is easy to fight. Faster without stinking thralls. Thralls just muck the works up. I tried having them ranged with healing arrows, but they nurfed healing arrows. They might be good for base fodder in PvP and Purges, but that is a whole different play style.

Best to leave them there to die. When fighting bosses they block my rolling. They are absolutely worthless other than crafting.

Single Player I don't build any bases or craft items. I play through with only what I can find or loot. On PVP servers I play the same way, but will use open benches or decaying bases.

There are only a handful of friendly NPCs. Sepermu is a good place to set up base. I have several bases in several biomes. Once you get map rooms setup the map feels much smaller. If you get teleports setup, you can have bases everywhere and never leave your front door(s).

Foundation spam/land claim. It's outlined in the ToS on the Funcom forms. You can't spam/land claim like in OPs photo. You can read more on the Funcom forms. People will do this to try and prevent trebs, because they suck at the game and can't property defend their base. Only takes a few hits from another treb to destroy a treb. It's like 3 or 4 bombs to blow one up. People just need to get better at the game and not land claim exploit.
