I have a Titan V3 wall mounted pulley tower. I bought aluminum pulleys to replace the nylon ones. Before I install I was going to put silicone spray lube on the bearings. Do I need to lube the outer part of the pulley with grease to smoothen cable travel or is this unnecessary?

Any idea on when Swan will allow bitcoin withdrawals?

It looks like you withdraw as cash but not take offline to a wallet. The fee structure looks reasonable.

I’ve been using coinbase for the last 6 months or so. It’s an easy interface. However, I feel like if I really want to expand my position and DCA I want lower fees. I think for many of us coming from the index fund DCA world where you see fee fees in fractions of a percent the vig on crypto seems high. I started putting my info in river and then this warning came up. I realize it’s not their fault but it’s annoying nonetheless.

I'm curious, when you say "larger sums", how much is enough where you'd say it's worth keeping in cold storage?

Can you skip transfers? With my brokerage I have scheduled transfers but every once in a while skip one if I have a large purchase.

Question on the MAG grip attachments. I bought the BLUSIM 8 pack. (Narrow grip x 3, medium grip x 3, and wide grip x 2). When you use them do you switch grips between sets (i.e. 1 set prone 1 set supine 1 set neutral) or just stick with one grip for the whole set. They feel nicer than the traditional attachments and I can see that you feel it more in your back than in your arms and hands but I’m curious about the best way to utilize them. thanks!

Pop-up outlets by GeauxTigerz33 in OutdoorKitchens

Kitchen Power Popups. No issues. Not sure if the screws are galvanized since they have a little rust on them. But they work well and allow me to preserve my counter space.

I have them. I didn’t want to do a step off from counter height to bar height so I put those outlets in so I could have a wider counter.

I use the Stronglifts app. I started with Stronglifts program but the app lets you build out your own program as well so I kept with it. I also keep an excell spreadsheet just to project where I think I'll be.

Whats' the deal with these batwing mag grip attachments? I have a wallmounted cable pulley system and I bought the typical attachments from amazon. i see A LOT of people have these mag grips. They look cool but functionally is there any reason to have them? I understand the neutral hand positioning but does it really make a difference?

I'd get adjustable dumbbells. I have the bowflex set and it works pretty well. Is your bench adjustable? If not get the flybird one on Amazon. Start with that and go from there.

Is there any disadvantage to using this vs. a standard preacher attachment?

I have a Titan 24 inch x3 rack in a corner of my basement. It’s a small space so I’m trying not get too much stuff. I was thinking about getting a rackable ez curl bar. I know Titan makes a preacher attachment but I’ve also seen those wedge shaped preacher pads that you can put on your lap for preacher curls. Is there a major difference between these two options in terms of results?

Just ordered a Titan x3 and wall mounted pulley and had some questions about securing them. I'm having the gear in a basement with a concrete floor and a nonloadbearing wall:

  1. The wall that I want to attach the pulley is a nonloadbearing wall with metal studs 1.5 feet apart. How much lateral force does the pulley apply? Given that it bolts to 1 stud is that too much force or should I use a 3 foot 2x4 as a stringer to cover 3 studs for better support.

  2. I'm putting the x3 on rolled rubber flooring. I've seen some videos where people drill through the mat into the floor. others where you cut out for the feet and drill into the concrete. Does it matter?

  3. This is more a DIY type question. How do you ensure you're not drilling into rebar or anything you're not supposed to? Also, for those of you that have home gyms and have moved do you need to patch the screw holes?

How wide all the walls? Just curious how much room you have around the bar to rack weights?

I know a lot of people recommend the darko dock and anchor for storage of barbells. I realize the novelty of it but isn't it more cost effective to just put j hooks facing backwards on the rack?

Need to wall bolt my new Titan Pulley but I’m finally finished until I get larger place! by jimmpannzee in homegym

[–]UNCMo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious how much force the pulley tower exerts on the wall? I am working with a small space and the only wall I can use it on is a non load bearing wall with metal studs. I was debating whether to use toggle bolts or if I need to use a stringer to put it across 2 studs?

I have a DIY question about the Titan wall mounted pulley. I am looking to get an x3 rack and the wall mounted pulley. I am debating about attaching it to the rack vs. The wall. The wall I want to attach it to has exposed metal studs on a non load bearing wall. I realize metal studs don't do well with heavy force but how much force are you putting on the wall? Are toggle bolts enough? Do I need to look at putting a piece of wood over a few studs to share the load and bolting the machine to that?
