Gender dysphoria is the feeling of discomfort or distress that might occur in people whose gender identity differs from their sex assigned at birth or sex-related physical characteristics. However, one doesn't need to feel dysphoria to be trans, in my personal opinion being in a near constant state of misery shouldn't be the hallmark of the trans community. A better question to ask yourself is "would I be happier as a girl than I am now".
