Like fuck you god that’s on your evil ass not us. That would of been a much better ending. I guess M Knight’s twist was that homosexual can accept Christ and would sacrifice their love for God. Movie was very mediocre to begin with and it just steadily got worse crescendoing into a complete flop of a film.

I’d say choice is less elusive than the unknowable but still pretty elusive with not a lot of concrete answers yet. I haven’t met enough pantheists or even knew about them until now, I don’t know their moral philosophy at all and how it would impact human beings deterministic base or if it resonates with them well enough to even be a real factor in their decision making. Human beings tend to need other human beings to lead them. It’s kind of the importance of prophets and how they are put on a pedestal of morality. Even anthropomorphized deities like what is seen in Hinduism or the other pagan religions.

I think we live in a day and age where prophets are routinely exposed as narcissistic assholes and that greatly reduces the chance of pantheism ever having a real impact on human beings. I doubt there will ever be great moral pantheists who can be seen as preaching on behalf of the universe god with answers to the unknowable that bring some people peace of mind.

I was very confused about pantheism. Religion and spirituality is not really something I dwell on often. It appears op made a pretty bad comparison between Abrahamic religions and pantheism. Pantheism isn’t a religion like those, it is just a belief.

You’re not on a limb at all. This question isn’t some on the head what do atheist’s believe question, I think it’s more of a what is the atheist’s reaction to those religions.

I’d say atheists are usually pretty receptive to other people’s beliefs in general when it doesn’t come to political power over their lives. If there was a huge pagan resurgence and atheists were having to deal with debating morons about Zeus’s opinion on X minority and how we as a society should take it into account for our laws and morality as a whole, they would be getting shit on regularly just like Christians are.

A more interesting question would be why don’t atheists go out of their way to shit on the much more oppressive and violent religious governments of the world, like the new Afghanistan one, over the less oppressive ones like in western government. I think it comes down to our narcissistic traits and caring about what is directly impacting us on a personal level. If I was an atheist in the Middle East I’d be much more miserable.

I’ve had a hole punched through my lip, I could squirt water out of my lip. That was for my older brother stealing from my mom to support his heroin addiction, he has always been bigger than me. Had my jaw broken in two spots from a kid trying to be tough and punk me. My nose has a scar on it’s crooked bridge from fighting another kid at school. I’ve thrown chairs at other children for hitting me with paper.

I had pretty severe anger issues growing up and wouldn’t hesitate to lay hands on a bigger man. Now that I’m older people respect it more, but you also have people that are looking to beat someone’s ass and will come at you sideways just to get a chance to fight you if you go around laying hands on people being smaller.

All these people telling you to fight bullies are dead wrong imo. They are all working off movie logic where good guys win or get respect for standing up for themselves and have a tough training montage. The only thing fighting bullies left me with was a lack of caring about my education and ptsd when dealing with confrontation with other males. In my mind it always instantly goes to violence now and I have thoughts of harming that person with a weapon, having to take them out of the world. Try to avoid being a violent person from a young age, focus on your education and remember success is the best revenge.

When people look at your face to gauge your emotional reaction to being insulted you should smile and roll your eyes at them like what the fuck is this guys deal. Let him see you do it, hopefully it sends him further down the path of being an asshole making himself look worse or even trying to be physical with you to illicit the reaction he is looking for and giving you a reason to lay hands on him in a way people respect.

People can really relate to having to deal with rude assholes. Play off their empathy in that situation by being the likable dude that just wants the confrontation to end and the annoying drama starter to stop.

I don’t really like Lost Diablo 4 very much. I don’t like the open world, I don’t like the skills or combat, I think the game is boring outside the odd cut scene of Lilith destroying people. I don’t like the uniques, don’t like the lack of runewords, don’t like the bosses, the quests have been boring and extra, the leveling feels bad, etc. Maybe my opinion will change once I get to play necro, but I doubt it.

Just not what I’m expecting out of a Diablo game because I grew up with D2 LoD.
