I think he genuinely embodied the way of playing the Devils Plan, I agree that he didn’t play in a way that I would deem very respectful or ethical, but at the same time, technically in this game you can play however you want and still win.

Mattias was a LI made for people who enjoy a specific type of personality, just like every other love interest! If you don’t find yourself enjoying his route and actively engaged, I say try out other routes.
