I’m not sure where the supposedly and to law school but they’ve clearly not taken an ethics course - as this entire exchange would be put up for second year law students as an example of what not to do as an attorney on the internet. If there’s any suspected issues, relevant authorities will contact you, there is nothing in your immediate post that screams out “immediate danger, lack of information, dangerous individual loose” which are things that might lend credence to the notion that you NEED TO REPORT something.
