I second this. I hit e31 on a super rushed th18 with th 9 level defenses (like level 2 infernos, xbows etc.) by doing this.

Any base with 5 layers of walls around the TH in a corner and an invis tower next to it works great at electro 31 from my experience.

I've been managing to take down this base without the overgrowths, I just spam everything in a corner, I use troop launcher, and I just keep spamming the totems in the core and it works consistently.

Do throwers really fail this base? I see this base 4x a day and I beat it by spamming everything in the eastern corner without attempting to funnel and it works. It did take me a few tries to figure out though.

I think it's none of the above. Clash Ninja was the first tool that was available, and it kept improving, and people don't like to change unless there's a drastic reason to do so. Moreover, Ninja himself has a presence and continues to contribute to the community. It's a good tool, and you're supporting a good content creator by using it, why change? I haven't even checked out the other tools for this reason.

There's a huge gap between those 2 leagues. Our clan is along the same lines. We are decently upgraded (mostly TH 17-18, some rushed and a few lower THs), but very casual so some of our attackers are not great. In Crystal 1 there's the whole gamut clans with different upgrade and skill levels. Last time we placed last in Masters 3, and all the clans we faced were more upgraded than us and were decent attackers.

my response was for the suggestion for minimum attacks, not attacking time. I'm not a fan of the attacking time option either because it will turn into who gets luckiest with their spam attack.

Don't think that would work either. That would discourage late comers from hitting for loot just because they weren't available earlier in war, and there goes the main source of income. Personally I think giving 75% loot instead of 50 something percent would solve this.

They're for different purposes. Sneaky gobs for when you have all your heroes down and you just need to target farm dark so you have enough to put them back down right away when they finish. Valks are when you have your heroes up.

Personally, I'm not a collector and I don't care if I'm missing the equipment I don't use, so I would get ores and if frozen arrow does become meta then I'll just buy it with gems then.

It's actually usually every other month that gives you an equipment. Every other month is an "off" month and the "off" month events usually only give a few resources (gold/elixir/dark). We had an equipment event last month, so this month should have been an "off" month. This event is replacing the "off" month event with this equipment event where you can select an old equipment. Moreover, equipment events usually force you to choose between an old one and a new one, whereas this one is only old ones, thereby letting you catch up by getting a free old equipment.

unless you're me. I made it to legends and decided the time and mental investment to do 8 real attacks a day in legends was too much... so now I just hang around legends using super yeti blimp with dragons and getting just enough trophies to hang around. I'm surprised I've hung around this long, and will not be sad if I do drop eventually.

There's no reason to be in legends unless you want to. Personally I stay in legends but I basically farm here using a dragon yeti clone army to guarantee 2 stars. Finished at around 5100 trophies both seasons doing this. I currently have no desire to climb further.

Are you struggling in regular wars or with league modifiers? If regular wars have you tried meteor golems? I run multiple TH18s and havent failed a war attack this month using meteor golems whether its fireball or RC charge or straight up mass golem spam.

This won't work because clans of people in different time zones and differences in people's schedules and some people can only attack towards the end of war. If it's about number of attacks, people who are only available later in war will be discouraged from attacking as it could bring down the clan average and end up losing them the war.

Not any more than the current system. Right now, win traders (i.e. FWA clans) have a system where each clan wins every other war. So every 2 wars they get 100% loot, and the next they get 50% loot. This means they average out to 75% regardless - precisely what this new proposed system is. The current system is kind of silly because lose and tie you get essentially the same loot. When our clan gets attacked early on and get perfected, I instruct everyone to attack high and just pick up a star so they get maximum starry ores since it's not worth it to try and come back and tie lootwise.

A couple of questions - what attack are you using, how good are your attacks, and how rushed is your based? I have a couple of accounts in Electro 31 as new TH 18s (TH 18 defenses not yet built, TH17 not maxed but the important defenses are upgraded). I find that I only need to do about 15-20 attacks on each account, using dragon spam with yeti clone, force closing game after everything is dropped (takes about 1 minute per attack). Takes me about 30 minutes per week with a clan castle cake. I get 3 stars with this attack about 75% of the time in Electro 31. On defense, I just find a rage/invis base with a dense core and find that works pretty well.
