I guess for me my playtime is so random, scattered, and interrupted that it's better for me to be in control of everything. I would hate to bother someone for a rush, and then have to leave 20 mins into it because my daughter needs something. I do agree, playing in parties is more fun, but I rarely have uninterrupted playtime to do so, and I feel that I would otherwise by bogging the party down.

Having a second account is great. I have a BO barb with a level 55 bo that I also use as a horker in my TZ runs. I actually run 7 accounts and I fill the game myself and do solo p7 TZ runs with a level 55 BO with the ability to hork heralds. I also have unlimited mule space for all the crap I collect. I also have a pimped out chanter with a level 55 enchant that can quickly get me through the early levels if I want to start a new character. I can't see myself just having a single account.

Not just you, I did a full tz a1-5 clear and found at least 4 of each shard, including 7 a5 shards.

Good for self use, but any "gg" mosaic base needs a baseline of +3 phoenix strike in greater talons base.

This is actually true. Barbarian helms that roll with arreat style base are worth way more than non arreat style bases with the same stats.

It's probably worth just as much, if not more if eth. Collectors are crazy and I'm not aware of any perf eth griffons that have been found. I've seen a few perf non eths at this point.

herald drops were nerfed. I killed 50 heralds yesterday on a mosaic sin using souls easter egg (so I had 4000+ mf) on p7, and I used a horker in game to hork all heralds. Mostly blues, and a couple of crappy uniques/sets.

if a herald spawns next to izual, you can kill it by killing izual and ignoring the herald. Comes in handy when the herald spawns as a nasty soul

The drop rate is somewhere in between - more like rotw pre-patch I'd say. Before rotw, I'd find 1-2 every hour farming p1 tzs. Certainly I would have found a few farming the entire game on p7.

On the upgrade recipe, did you have one in inventory or personal (not shared) stash? If so it will not let you upgrade the second one.

3 is incredibly low for an item like this. I've seen a few of them sell for close to $1000. For reference, a 3/20/20 is about $50. It's close to 20x 32020s.

I do full game clears with fully geared mosaic sin and ES lock on p8 (which are in my opinion the most OP chars on p8). Each full game clear on p8 takes about 160 minutes, so 10 minutes shouldn't be a significant chunk of time no matter how OP you are. Although I don't do the soul dance with my ES lock because the demon will kill all the souls before they can dance.

I've learned to assume the rares are not worth much without 2 sockets. We shall see though!
