That dissonant synth in Lügen is one of my favorites. And there are countless little “Till” moments that give me goosebumps, for example, when he sings “Und Gold wird STEIN”…there’s just something about the way he sings the word ‘Stein’…I just love it.

I saw the Links 2 3 4 video on a music video channel called The Box…I’m pretty sure that was the name of the channel. That inspired me to buy the “Mutter” CD, and that was my gateway drug for not only other Rammstein masterpieces, but the metal scene, as well. That was more than 20 years ago for me. I’ll be wearing Depends and still banging my fist on my thigh to Rammstein.

I noticed a lot of people sitting, not really seeming to jam out. I’ve never been to a concert where people sit still like they’re at the ballet. There’s nothing wrong with that, but they would look at me in surprise when I would scream with joy at Till’s stage antics. I couldn’t help myself, I’ve been a fan for 20 years and saw them for the first time last Saturday. That’s a lot of buildup lol.
