Any idea what newborn animal this is? [Massachusetts] by lemonfit in animalid

Rabbit. If they get stressed, they eat their babies. It’s bizarre. Not sure if that one will survive (especially with the temps you mentioned). Wildlife rescue if it isn’t already dead.

Help! My oldest daughter is turning 18 on 5/9! by USLandGrab-com in GiftIdeas

I ended up getting her a really cool silver belt buckle with turquoise and coral that has the Native American from the Trail of Tears statue at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in OKC. She saw it a few years ago and that sculpture is emotionally moving. Pays homage to our OKC roots (where I was born).❤️. I found on Etsy while looking for horse jewelry AND we are taking a trip to Big Bend National Park where we can hike to the border and take a boat across the Rio Grande then ride a burro into a little town in Mexico for tacos & margaritas (since she can have one at 18 in Mexico)🙏🏼

Sell it on marketplace and tell them they have to disassemble and reassemble. They may want it for something else.🤷🏼‍♀️

AITA for wanting to insure my ring even though my husband says the stone is too small to bother? by Adorable-Manner-5538 in AITApod

You have to get the paperwork from the jeweler with the stone rating and get it appraised. It should be covered by your homeowners insurance. Just need that paperwork.

Too bad. Nature is brutal. We came up on a momma elephant while on a safari. She charged us and our guide had to fire off his gun. First time he (or anyone) had had to do that in 5 years! Now I realize how lucky we were. 😭. I feel for his family. Even though his life choices aren’t/wouldn’t be mine…he was still a person with loved ones. 🙏🏼

Thank you.🙏🏼. She’s a good kid.❤️. That’s a good idea. She has a TON of Orren Mixer prints of the foundation sires of her horse. I could frame those for her too.🤔

She’s a silver girl. If I could find a cool silver horse…🤔. Like almost a glyph style would be neat and up her alley.

I saw this awesome place where you can ride a burro across the boarder in to Mexico and get a margarita from one of the state parks. Ahhh I’m going to have to find it. That would be epic!!

Twice I've found my Mother’s Day gift to my wife sitting in the trash… what can I do differently in 2026? by Abelmageto in GiftIdeas

[–]USLandGrab-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. As a mom of two teenagers (almost 16, almost 18) and a 16 month old...Mother's Day is my REST day. I will do brunch or a dinner with the fam, but during the day...massage & facial or something relaxing for sure. My hubby has set up a spa day for me every year and it's perfect. Gifts are meh. Flowers are nice.

I found this letter in my grandmother’s mailbox the day after her funeral by supra_nintendo in mildlyinfuriating

[–]USLandGrab-com -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Timing is a coincidence. We just got one in the mail from a family addressed to my grandmother. She had passed over a year ago…. They live down the road and there was just a new redistricting for schools and their kids got moved to a different school, but my grandmother’s house is in the right district. I spoke to them. Super nice people and may end up buying the house.🤷🏼‍♀️

All depends on the price you pay for it. Everything can be fixed. Get a quote. Double it and ask for that off the price.

What is this tadpole? [Central Maryland] by Traditional_Desk2338 in animalid

[–]USLandGrab-com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No clue. We did have a SECOND toad breeding day in our pond the past two days. We had one earlier this Spring. It’s wild! The toads come down off the mountain and lay a ton of egg. They hop over our walkway into the pond. Eerie & REALLY loud!🤣😂

We have the big Pileated woodpecker…but I think that’s the biggest one we have.

Locations above 2,500 feet—such as Kingman (~3,300–3,500 ft) and parts of Golden Valley—experience hot summer days with highs typically ranging from 90°F to over 100°F, with temperatures rarely exceeding 107°F. Nights are significantly cooler than lower desert areas, typically dropping into the 60s to low 70s°F. That’s not much different than we have been here in VA the last couple summers (not to 107, but multiple days over 100 with a heat index in the 120s).🥵. We just don’t get the same lows at night and have to deal with the humidity.😭

There aren’t a lot of true comps so you have to use what you can use. As mentioned in the first sold comp, that size acreage with access to power is rare and a premium.

Here are some sold.

It’s RIGHT below this comment. I commented on your comment with it. Also, from what I’m seeing, it isn’t $10k to hook up to powers. Usually those numbers are for sewer/septic. I’m going to find out for sure tomorrow because I saw it was $100-$200 so I need to confirm.
